Happy Birthday MiMi!
Today is my mom's Birthday and I know if McCall were here she would want to say Happy Birthday, MiMi (so, I'm doing it for her since she can't talk yet....or atleast that I am aware of)! Mom got a digital picture frame from Davy and me (and McCall)- I don't think she'll have trouble finding pictures to put on it...do you?
Anyway, Happy Birthday, Mom (MiMi)!!! I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
7 weeks until the due date!!!!!

Shower, showers and more showers
First of all I have to say that I have WONDERFUL friends and family! I had a shower thrown by 4 of my closests friends (Carreen, Ginni, Koehler, & Kieley) on January 10 and a shower February 21 thrown by my Aunt Maggie, Barbara, Cindy; cousins Ashlee and Teresa; sister-in-law, Nikki; and friend Keli.
Both showers made me want to cry! I could tell how excited everyone was about the arrival of McCall and reminded me of how incredibly loved she already is! Davy and I are so blessed to have such an amazing group of friends and family! God is goood!!!
Below are some pictures from both showers and a picture from my friend Kristen's baby shower (thanks for the picture, Candice). Kris is due on April 18 with baby Russell Price Masters.
Koehler, me (baby McCall), Kris (baby Price), and Candice at Kris' shower!

Preggo Pics (as promised)
The day I found out I was pregnant- 5 weeks exactly
I didn't take very many pictures during the first trimester or beginning of the second (mainly because I just looked like I had consumed McDonalds for every meal) This picture is from 24 weeks 3 days.
Oh how the body can change in a week- my belly decided to grow a lot between week 24 and 25. (you may not be able to tell, but I definitely could!)
This picture is from 25 weeks exactly.
And the most recent photo- 30 weeks exactly

30 Week Check-up!
Today I had my 30 week check-up. Everything went GREAT! I was super nervous about getting on the scale because I could tell that my stomach had grown quite a lot since last visit, but actually I only gained 2 lbs!! Dr. Chapman measured me and everything measured correctly and checked McCall's heart rate, as well(a strong 152). I joked with Dr. Chapman about making sure he only heard my heart and McCall's heart beat during the check-up (not that I wouldn't be thrilled with twins; I would just not want to be surprised with them :) ) He assured me that after four normal ultrasounds and two 4-D ultrasounds that I would know if I was having twins by now- this made me feel better (for at least about 1o seconds) until he told me a story about a woman delivering twins when she originally thought she was having one baby and didn't find out until she was in labor- BUT then he informed me this was like thirty years ago before ultrasounds were performed...so, it was then that my blood pressure returned to normal again :)
Anyway, all is great with McCall- 10 WEEKS- AHHHH :)

What a great few weeks it has been!
We are trying to stay up to date on the blog, but due to super busy work schedules we have fallen down on our postings. Sorry.
OK- Update on the preparations for McCall's arrival- First, we are so excited that after looking at numerous great day cares that we finally found one that not only will fit McCall's needs, (clean, safe, great learning environment, etc.) but is extremely convenient for Davy and I to drop her off AND the best part was we were able to get her in right after I go back to work~We are thrilled!!!! You understand how excited we are if you have ever looked for child care- trust me, it's not easy! :)
Second, we are pumped that we are getting to go to Easley this weekend to do some shopping with Mimi (my mom), Popi (my step dad) and my dad (we are still working on his Grandpa name :) ). My friend Aston told me about a super cute baby store in Greenville and we can't wait to check it out- along with the typical Babies R Us and Target run, of course. It should be a weekend of fun!!!
Lastly, McCall's room was painted last week- pink, of course! We know its kind of not a big deal, but the thought of it made Davy and I even more excited for her arrival. I can't believe it is only a little over 10 weeks. We really can't wait to meet our precious little girl!
***Oh, and thank you to everyone for all the sweet e-mails about the blog! AND I heard everyone loud and clear- I promise to post pregnant pictures very soon :)
