Super Bad Blogger!
So, I've once again been a terrible blogger over the past two and half weeks while M has been sick, but I guess I do have some what of an excuse. Anyway, my sweet cupcake is starting to feel better (after numerous trips to the Dr.'s office, having some labs run, and trying at least 4, that I remember, creams/ointments for her bottom).
Also, my lack of blogging has been due to the computer issues we have been experiencing. Our memory card slot on the computer has died :( Fingers crossed, thanks to Dell we should be up and running by Tuesday with pictures again. AND I can't wait for everyone to see the adorable pictures I have been storing up for two whole weeks! Well, until Tuesday...

Sick baby...
McCall has been sick for over a week now, which explains the lack of postings. Anyway, I think she is now getting back to normal- we even got a few smiles and laughs our way yesterday. Thank goodness-I love when she is happy!! Pictures to come soon- promise!

We've got a SCOOTER!!!!!
And no, not one you ride- that's right, McCall is scooting around! She had been sort of doing it with us at home the past few days, but I didn't really say much about it because it is definitely not a crawl. (She leaves her legs and feet for the most part on the ground and puts her bottom up the air- it's pretty funny to watch!!) However, when I picked her up from daycare today Mrs. Margie told me all about Miss McCall's day of scooting! She said she put her on a blanket for tummy time and the next thing she knew McCall was off of the blanket and had scooted all the way over to the wall where all the toys are. THAT'S MY GIRL!!!! I am thrilled, but it is also very bittersweet. My sweet little girl is growing up!
OK, that's our news for the day!

4 Month Dr. Check-up
McCall's 4 Month check-up was today (yes, I realize she turned 4 months old almost 2 weeks ago, but Dr. Whitehead was on vacation, so today was her appointment) and it went great!
McCall was 13 pounds 9 ounces (the 40th percentile) and 25 inches long (75th percentile). She also received two shots and only cried for seriously like 5 seconds- such a big girl!

Weekend of Visitors!
Wow! Did McCall have a busy weekend or what? McCall's visitors this weekend included: MiMi, Papi, Carreen and Mike, and the Millers (Blair, Kris, and Price).
My Mom and Dad came down Friday night and the rest came to visit on Saturday. McCall always enjoys playing and loving on MiMi and Papi and this weekend was not different. She had a blast with them.
Carreen and Mike stopped by after their trip to the beach (and I'm so sad that I was so busy catching up with them that I didn't even snap a picture of McCall with them! Sorry guys!).
The Millers were also returning from a family trip to the beach and stopped by. McCall loves when she gets to see Price! Also, I love being able to catch up on "mommy stuff" with Kris. Kristen was kind enough to introduce "baby crack" to McCall. That's right, McCall is HOOKED on Baby Einstein videos!!! (In fact, I am able to update the blog right now because she is so into B.E.) Thanks, Kris.
McCall's hair has started getting longer and I guess it's going to have a little curl in it. We didn't notice how curly it was getting until after bath time the other night.
Getting ready for bed time
Super sweet! :)
MiMi talking to McCall
Such a sweet boy!
We got them both to look at the same time- AMAZING!
Too sweet!
"McCall, I've had a rough ride in the car- can I just rest my head on you?"
They were so cute together!
Kris and Mr. Price
Davy got to meet Price!

Over the past week....
I know, once again I've been slack about posting new pictures. Here are a few from last week with McCall.
Her first few spoonfuls of rice cereal... yum!
We made it a little too thin- it was more like feeding her milk on a spoon :)
M's new purchase- yep, finally broke down and got a high chair. My little girl is getting so big- we can't wait to try it out!

What Happens When Mommy is Out of Town....(you fill in the blank)
McCall got to spend a lot of time with Davy this past week because I had to go out of town for work. This was SOOOOOO hard for me- I had never been away from her for more than one night. Anyway, I knew (although I was nervous) Davy could keep things under control. However, after seeing what happened with McCall on Saturday now makes me wish I could have secretly seen Davy with McCall over the past week.
You might be asking "what happened with McCall on Saturday?" Oh goodness..... here we go! Davy and I decided to go to lunch and go shopping as a family Saturday mid-morning. My sweet husband decided that he would let me get ready and he would get McCall ready to go. By the time we got ready it was almost time for lunch so we went straight to eat. McCall fell asleep on the way to the restaurant and continued to sleep throughout the beginning of our meal. The restaurant was cold so she had a blanket on her while we ate (this part will become important shortly). She woke up about half way through our meal and was ready to eat, so I picked her up to feed her. This is where it gets good...... as I picked McCall up and held her (over my shoulder)before I was going to feed her I removed the blanket and to my surprise saw about 8-10 buttons going down her back. What in the world???? Yes, that's right- Davy had put her adorable outfit on the wrong way!!!!! I hadn't been able to tell until now because she had the blanket on her. I laughed until I cried! I wasn't laughing at him putting her outfit on the wrong way- I was laughing imagining him putting it on- how in the world did he get her to be still to button all those buttons??? And did he do this to her all week while I was gone? Oh, life is never dull with my sweet husband and daughter.

4 MONTHS OLD!! Seriously?
Our sweet little girl is 4 months old today (thank you to all of you who have called- McCall has enjoyed listening to all the sweet messages!) I still find it hard to believe that 4 months have flown by!
McCall at 4 months now:
- sits supported
- plays in her crib in the mornings until we go and get her (sometimes we just watch her on the monitor and laugh at how active she is)
- smiles and laughs A LOT (especially when we kiss on her sweet tummy)
- rolls over all the time
- kicks her feet all time- the girl seriously loooooooves to do this. (Davy swears she will be riding a bicycle soon! I laugh)
- loves pulling hair- especially mommy's (not a fan of this one)
- is obsessed with touching her feet (I hope this means she likes pedicures with mommy one day!!)
- is drooling a lot (teething perhaps?)- we change her outfit at least 3 times a day :)
- is no longer interested in a pacifier at all
** Coming soon-pictures of Miss McCall eating rice cereal for the first time :)
