Oh, what a fabulous and fun weekend! Mimi and Papa came to visit McCall AND we celebrated Mimi's birthday ALL weekend!!!! We seriously had the best time laughing and visiting with each other! For those who know my mom well, you know that she goes nuts and completely overboard on our birthdays-we typically get at least two birthday cakes (because she knows how much we like sweets), first of all, she is the first one to call and sing Happy Birthday to us, and ALWAYS gives the most thoughtful gifts (and it was no different when Davy and I got married she started doing the same for him- I'm so thrilled I could cry at just how much she adores Davy and genuinely treats him like a son!)- She truly does know how to make us feel incredibly special on our "special" day! SO, we ,of course, wanted to make her feel VERY special on such a special day for her. Friday night we went to dinner and on Saturday (her actual birthday) we opened gifts and had plans to go to the Melting Pot in Myrtle Beach for dinner. However, McCall has not been feeling very good so we decided to bring the Melting Pot to us- yep, we did our own fondue!!! It was DELIC(ious)!!!!!!!! YUMMY!
Mom, I hope we made you feel at least half as special as you make us feel not just on our birthdays, but everyday!!! We love you and McCall can't wait for you and Papa to visit again soon! (McCall also said Mimi for the first time on her birthday! I'm sure that was a birthday gift by its self for her!)
OK, so these were the only candles we had in our house...it was either 26 or 62- Mom picked 26 :)

The fondue set up....
TOO funny! We were busy cooking dinner and over heard M talking- we went to the door and she was waving "bye bye" and talking to Wrigley!!!!!!
I wanted to see if she had enough hair to pull up...she does!
Oh, how I love that face!!!!
"Happy Birthday, Mimi!!!"
