Name for Baby Girl Gregg #2

AHHH! We are going crazy trying to come up with a name for our sweet baby girl. I get the question "what are you going to name her?" daily and feel terrible when I have to reply "not a clue!"

I'm praying that a name is just going to "hit" us one day! Until then any suggestions are welcome :)

17 Weeks

At 17 weeks I am FINALLY feeling good again. I am still SO tired by the end of the day, but at least the  morning all day sickness is finally gone!

I'm eating/craving the same foods I did with McCall... lots of tomatoes and sweet tea. (Odd...I know!) So, it makes me wonder if my girls will be similar. Who knows? We shall see come August!

It just hit me that I have yet to take any belly pictures during this pregnancy. I hope this doesn't mean that I'm not going to take as many pictures of this sweet baby girl (I still to this day give my mom a hard time because there was about a 1 to 5000 ratio of pictures [in my brothers favor] from when we were little).

So here I am .... 17 weeks and growing!!!!

And this is a 25 week picture from when I was pregnant with McCall.... HUGE difference!  I have a feeling I'm going to be large and in charge this pregnancy...Oh, well! It is ALL worth it :)

A Seriously In Need Catch Up Post

Holy Moly, we've been out of town, busy with work, sick, etc... so I'm just now catching up on about a months worth of blog action :)

Don't worry, I'll try to shorten it, make this painless and let the photos do the talking.

 The girls took a bath together... no worries, nothing is wrong with the water. We have the color tablets that change the bath color... McCall loves them!!!!!!

PINK!!!!!!! YEAH! We are expecting ANOTHER girl!!!!! More bows, shoes, and dresses will be in our house! Can you imagine? We actually really can't, but certainly can't wait! Davy, McCall and I found out late Thursday afternoon. I've been dying to blog about it, but we left Friday for our Anniversary weekend (number 5, that is.... can't believe it has been 5 wonderful, fun, and crazy years!!....anyway...) and I had all intentions of blogging when we got to Asheville, but that was a no go. Almost as soon as we arrived I got sick and stayed this way the whole weekend! BLAH... gross stomach bug!

I'm in a hurry this morning, but I promise to post pictures of our youngest daughter (wow, did I just say that?) when I get home tonight.

Problem Solved... I Think!

Woooo hooooo!!!!!! My mom found a place in Greenville that does gender scans at 14 weeks! AND I will be 14 weeks next week when we happen to be making a stop in Greenville on our way to Asheville!!!!! So, fingers crossed, next Friday around lunch time we should know if we will have another little girl or a little boy. I really, really hope they can tell!!!!!!

Gender Scan

Why oh why am I wanting to know the sex of this baby so badly????? OH YEAH, because EVERYONE (including me) seems to be hosting some sort of baby clothing show within the next two weeks and I just HAVE to know if I should continue on my ridiculous shopping of girl clothing or not.  So, when can I find out???? According to my doctor, I can't find out at their office until around 19 weeks (for free)....big boooooooooooooooooooooooo considering I'm a day away from 13 weeks! ARG! I can however go to one of those gender scan places at the beach or in Columbia at 15 weeks (for $80) or another office in town does scans for non-patients at 16 weeks (for $75). BUT, HELLO!!!!! I'm 13 weeks!!!!! Gezz.... can you tell I"m just not a patient person??

Happy Birthday, Peyton!!!

McCall attended her cousin, Peyton's, roller skating birthday party on Saturday. OMG!!! She  had the BEST time! Honestly, Davy and I took McCall so she could see Peyton (and the rest of the family), possibly play with Pryce (her other cousin that she ADORES!) , and of course, eat some birthday cake. I really didn't think about her attempting to skate. Well, once we got there the workers told us that they had McCall's size in skates, so we thought why not... lets give it a try. I could not believe it when she walked/marched/semi-skated around. Of course, she fell several times, but it really didn't seem to bother her.

McCall's New Title....

So, over the past year or so Davy and I have talked about how BIG McCall is getting (physically and developmentally). It seems like every few days McCall does something new and I hear one of us saying "she's getting SOOOOOO BIG!" Well, now she officially has the title to go along with it.....McCall is going to be a BIG sister!!!!! We are beyond thrilled to announce that we are welcoming a new addition sometime around August 5th.

Snow Day(s) and more...

So here I am playing catch up .... AGAIN. Oh well... I'm trying...
So, what has McCall been up to? Well,  it snowed last Monday and her school was closed Monday and Tuesday so we spent LOTS of time together and she got to play in the snow.

Happy New Year & Happy 21 Months, McCall!!!!

Happy New Year, everyone!!! I hope 2011 is everything you want it to be! I know our family has a list of things we are excited about for 2011. In fact, today at church we talked a lot about setting goals for 2011 and sticking to them. So, my first "goal" for the next week is to make my list of goals for 2011...easy enough goal, right?!? I'm not going to make anything super hard like losing 25 pounds or something like that. I've decided that there are numerous "little" things I would like accomplish in 2011. The first "little" thing that comes to mind is keeping my car cleaner than I have this year. Man, I have NEVER let my car go like this. I vow to rid my car of all the junk each day. The second thing that comes to mind is couponing. I am going to become a couponer(I guess that's what you would call one who coupons)! I went to a class a few weeks ago with a friend and I think I can do this. Now, that doesn't mean I will let it become my life. I simply would like to save my family a few dollars here and there if I can.
Speaking of 1.1.2011..... that makes my baby 21 months old!!!!! I can't believe I will soon have a TWO year old!?!?!?! Where has the time gone? McCall, you aren't a baby anymore..... you are a little person (who sometimes acts like a moody teenager) and I love more than you will ever imagine!!!!!!
