Mommy's Birthday

So I celebrated another year of life a few weeks ago and my sweet husband, girls, friends and parents could not have made it more special! Seriously, I had a week of celebrating! I got special treats all week long from my Mom, Step-dad and Dad, got flowers from Davy and the girls, went to dinner with a great group of friends, and even got flowers from my super awesome (and seriously the busiest person I know!!!!!) friend Dr. Carreen Drake and her family! Turning twenty eight hasn't been too bad..... :)

 These yummy strawberries kicked off my birthday week (thanks Mom and Ken!!)

 I'm sort of embarrassed to say this, but this was only 1 of my 4 cakes...yes, I said FOUR! I love (way more than I should) sweets! Davy got me a chocolate cake and a strawberry cake. My Mom had a cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory sent to me and my Dad brought me the above Gamecock cookie when he visited!!! yummy!!!!

 While Dad was here, he and M carved a pumpkin together.

 Have I ever mentioned how much I love McCall's school and her teachers? Look what they helped McCall do for my birthday!

3 Months Old

So, I'm officially back at work (which explains the lack of blogging...) and I miss my girls like crazy during the day! But it does make me appreciate the time I have at night and on the weekends with them.
So what have the girls been up to lately? Sweet, sweet Baylor is now THREE months old! What?? Yes, she is three months old!
So at three months old Baylor is:

• still so calm and happy! Love seeing that sweet smile!!!!
• starting to have some changes in her hair.... it's totally starting to get lighter- just like her big sisters did.
• 10 pounds and 7.5 ounces!!! woooo hooo! Finally getting some weight on her! (and finally out of newborn diapers!!!)
• will occasionally turn over from her back to her stomach (it's only happened a hand full of times)
• now at McCall's school. We LOVE where both girls are going! I originally had doubts about Baylor starting while she was sooooooo little, but the past 2 weeks could not have gone better. Ms. Blake has been so sweet to this over protective Mommy and more importantly to my sweet little peanut! 
• the sweetest, cuddliest (is that a word?), cutest, most loving, precious child!! I seriously want to eat her up every day!! Oh God is so good!

Now, for news on my 27 2 year old diva, McCall. Poor thing has been sick! She is now on the up swing, but man did she worry me (and her La La and Mi Mi!)! Long story, but McCall ended up with bronchitis (thank goodness it wasn't  pneumonia!) and was on multiple medications and breathing treatments for a week.  Great way to be welcomed back to work, right?! So appreciative that my Mother-in-law went to the doctor with us (since I was a ball of nerves) and my sweet Mom came to stay 4 nights with us!

 Doing her breathing treatments [she was not drinking the soft drink she is holding, but wanted to hold Mommy's drink while doing the treatment.... as long as she did the treatment, I didn't care :)]

 There's that sweet smile I missed!

So glad my mom came to help out!!

TWO Fun Weekends in a Row!!!

Two weekends ago we went to Easley to visit my parents and the girls had a blast! Then this past weekend we went to the mountains with Davy's parents for another weekend of fun. We stayed at my in-laws new mountain house- it's super cute and cozy!

It's All About the Twos!!!!

My little Baylor is TWO months old! And when I say my little Baylor I really mean my little Baylor- as in 9 pounds; 21.5 inches long (6th percentile in weight and 15th in height- I went back and looked at McCall's stats and at 2 months she was almost 10 and a half pounds and 23 1/8 inches long).
Talk about having two totally different children... McCall is off the charts and Baylor is barely on them!
Speaking of Miss McCall... as of October 1st she is TWO AND a HALF!!!!
Below are both girls milestones/stats :)

At 2 Months Baylor:

• SMILES!!!! Yeah... and it's the most precious smile I've ever seen. 
• Her eyes are still blue (like her big sister and Daddy!)
• Sleeps through the night!!! Usually 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM :) Mommy likes!!!
• Is so calm! (most of the time) I really couldn't have asked for a better baby!

At 2 and a half McCall:

• Is more independent than ever! We frequently hear "I do it myself!"
• Loves her "seeeee-ster, Bay-luuur" and wants to hold her ALL the time!
• Counts to 20
• Loves playing with stickers & watching Clifford(the big red dog) on TV :)
• Says her ABC's.... just not in the right order :) So I guess technically she is just spelling a REALLY long word....
• Loves to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Happy Birthday to You" to anyone and everyone.
• Knows how to work an iPhone better than most adults (scary, I know!)
• Is 32 or so pounds
• Wears a 3T; size 8 shoe (whoa!)
