Christmas Fun: Part 1

 I thought this video was TOO funny! This was the Sunday before Christmas in our car on the way home from church. McCall gets distracted by something.... {Please disregard the KFC lady reading back our order to us :) }

Christmas Eve McCall decided to protest against her nap, so by 4 she passed out on the couch.... luckily we were hosting the family get together....

 Then we skyped with Nikki, Eric, Drake, Tessa and Eli {and I JUST remembered I haven't posted about Tessa since she's been home... I promise to do that soon!)

 Christmas night we went over to my in-laws to do Christmas {in between Christmas morning and that night Davy's sister, Nikki, and her family drove down from Charlotte}

Vacation

I'm so excited to have the next few weeks off of work to do nothing but play with my girls and spend some quality time with my husband! Whew! The past few weeks have been exhausting (with Davy being out of town for TWO weeks!) --I can't wait to have some time to just enjoy each other.

Nikki and Eric will fly into Charlotte from China tomorrow night with their daughter (our niece!).  Davy, McCall, Baylor and I can not wait to finally meet her in person. We have been skyping with them since they got her last Monday. She is SOOOOOO happy and looks absolutely adorable!

Family Pictures

We recently had some family pictures done. It was SOOOOOO cold! But the girls actually did pretty good ONLY because Davy's cousin Ashlee and her family were also having their family pictures done at the same time. McCall LOVES playing with Peyton and Pryce and I'm sure Baylor and Piper will play together once they get bigger (esp. since they are only 3 weeks apart in age!) A few pictures of the family photo session are below!

Trial Run

So, you may think I'm crazy when I tell you this....
OK, so some of you already think I'm crazy.... I'm cool with that :)
Yesterday I needed to get some shopping done (and my parents were in town) so I headed off to the mall with both kids, my mom, Ken, and Davy. I decided that while we were there we should have a "trial run" for the Santa pictures we have coming up next week. If you remember correctly....this was the scene last year.... and the year before that Santa had to sneak up behind McCall while she wasn't looking so we could snap at least one photo :( So, I think it was totally justified that was a little nervous about how McCall was going to respond to Santa this year.
Great news! She loved him! McCall wanted to know where his reindeer were and wanted to make sure he got ALL of her Christmas list. (and it didn't hurt that Santa supplied her with a little candy too).
I will post both Santa pictures (the mall one and the one from next week) after the Santa Meet and Greet next week at M's school.

Same Story.... Different Day

Why oh why can I not find time to blog? Maybe, just maybe it's because I have a full-time job... and I'm a full-time Mommy of TWO.... and my husband has been out of town for a week...... Anyway.... nothing new going on here, but I do have some new pictures of the girls and our latest activities!

 We went to the mountains for a weekend with our sweet friends, The Beards, a few weeks ago.
