Blessings

Over the past few weeks, I have had several, numerous, a freakishly large amount of friends announce blessings entering their lives (AKA sweet lovable babies). But this one takes the cake... my sweet, wonderful, beautiful, most amazing Mom friend, Lindsey and her husband Cole are expecting their second child. Read HERE for the most honest, yet funny, reaction to her news! Love you Fishers!

A Little Home Video Action

I thought I would share some of McCall's latest videos.
The first one is of McCall learning how to drive the John Deere Gator at her Grandma and Grandpas!

McCall's cousin Drake came to visit. They are adorable playing together. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw them doing what is on this video. As you will see in the video, McCall (who is much heavier than Drake) is being pushed by Drake on her pink car. Poor Drake tries pushing her so hard it brings him to his knees! I just hate I caught the tail end of it and didn't get the whole thing on camera.

The next video is from last night at bath time. McCall LOVES the water! As you will see, she did not want to get out. (PS- Looking back, I realize how incredibly annoying I was by asking if she wanted to get out 12,000 times!- sorry!)

New Words....

So, McCall's vocabulary continues to expand everyday and it completely amazes me. Today McCall said not one but TWO new words!!!! McCall said "cookie" this morning. This was such a special moment- I'm sure you are wondering why. OK, a little background here.... I was 9 pounds when I was born, so it may be no surprise to you that "mama" or "dada" was NOT my first word... yep, you guessed it... "cookie" was my first word!!!
Also, cousin Drake came to visit today and McCall now looks at him and says "Dake" (Drake). It is adorable that she recognizes him!!!!

McCall's Dedication Weekend

OK, so I went into mad photo taking mode this weekend. I just downloaded the pictures and I took over 300 this weekend!!!!! Holy Cow! I promise not to post them all, but what a great weekend!

This was such an important weekend in not only for McCall, but for Davy and me. We had McCall's Dedication to the church! We can not express how thankful we were for the close friends and family who came to support McCall at such an important event. It meant the world to us!!!!!

Our family with Pastor Monroe!

Davy introducing our family
Papi with McCall before church
Mimi and McCall time (I think this is so sweet the way they are looking at each other!)
McCall loves riding the golf cart with Mimi and Papa
"Happy Birthday, Grandpa!!!" It was Davy's Dads birthday on Saturday and McCall wanted to help him open his card
HA!!!!! Our friends (The Tetanich's) are now renting out their beautiful house for weddings. Saturday was the first wedding at their house, so we went to check it out a few hours before it was to start. McCall decided she wanted to break it down on the dance floor!
Doing the robot....
McCall loves being chased! Can you tell?
Being "chased" by Papa!

She sure does love her sippy cups!

Emily made it to McCall's dedication!!!!! This child is pure sweetness!
Mom with Emily!

My sweet hubby and Hall! The Beards are such amazing friends!!! We heart you guys more than you know!

Grandma, McCall and Grandpa (or "Dran-pa" as McCall calls him)
***Notice McCall's cross necklace- a gift from Grandma and Grandpa to celebrate her dedication to the church.
OK, I had to include this picture. (sorry, Koehler) Somehow this was the only picture I had of you from the entire day :)
She hated this when she was an infant....
but when we got it out for Emily she suddenly had tons of interest in it..... go figure!
Bran, Hamp, McCall and Jencey... such amazing friends to be there for such an important day for McCall!
So, Grandpa and Grandma gave M a John Deere and apparently she now knows how to drive it (notice Grandpa chasing M in the background.... I think he was surprised she took off in it!) :)
Up to no good.....
Busted!!!!!!!
McCall in her "Hoooooo's Sleepy" sleeper
Grandma taught McCall how to drink out of a straw!

15 Month Check-Up

McCall had her 15 Month check-up today and it was incredibly uneventful (which was nice)
M at 15 months :
25 pounds (exactly), which is the 75th percentile
32 1/16 inches long, which is the 92nd percentile
The doctor commented on how impressed he was with her verbal skills (she decided to show off and talk THE WHOLE time during the visit! We heard lots of "milk," "daddy," "bye, bye," "Katie," "kiss ""thank you," etc.).

I can't say enough how thankful and blessed Davy and I are to have such a healthy, thriving , vocal and happy little girl. God has definitely been good to us-15 plus months with this amazing little girl- I can't imagine loving her anymore than we do- but I'm sure somehow it will happen!!
